Song Backstory - When Cathy and I exchanged our sides of the Kathleen Cathleen manuscript that (only) took fifteen years to write from our two perspective without sharing with each other, a previously hard-locked door opened and we began to make music together. From that moment on, music has been an active priority and writing and co-writing songs has become a new translator for what we were, perhaps less successfully, trying to express. The beginnings of Cathy's first song inspired I Will See You with my interior answer to Come & Gone.

I will see you in a minute
I will see you in a day
I will see you in ten hundred years from today
There is nothing that can hold me
From this love I gave away
Back from somewhere that we started yesterday
I try to speak my mind without a worry
My heart just hears us chattering away
And the other us the others never knew of
Breathe in and out just like we all do day by day,
Till stillness comes between the steps and layers
Peace between the trouble and the pain
Our living double paces right in place and all along
Our own sweet song
Filling up the space
Round and round, round and round
Lost to another, love still found us
In the end
I’m not the only one who’s got a double
Identity from loss of innocence, disgraced
Turn, turn, turn around another blind corner
Only to find you, when I get there
In the end
Round and round, round and round
Lost to another, love still found us
In the end
It’s funny how it never really mattered
Our own singsong still sprung up from within
Intertwined in love’s own call and answer echoes
In harmony, to and fro and back again
In the end.
Round and round, round and round
Lost to another, love still found us
In the end
I will see you in a minute,
I will see you in a day
I will see you in ten hundred years.
